It’s been almost seven years since I started this site. It fills me with happiness to see the sport has evolved so much in that short time. The level of competition has increased at that seems like leaps and bounds. Even the coverage of women’s wrestling in the media is becoming more prominent. So many new resources have popped up in just the last year they I am full of confidence when I say women’s wrestling is here to stay.
Unfortunately, this site is not. There are many new voices in women’s wrestling; voices with better funding and resources. I am being left behind and for various reasons I am unable to even attempt to keep up.
SoCalWrestlerGirl.com will cease to exist as of January 1, 2020, with all associated media accounts shutting down shortly after.
I want to thank everyone for their support and encouragement over the past years and hope that the site gave as much to you as it did to me.
Once again, thank you. And for one final time, let me invite you all to get out there and wrestle.
