If you’re interested in seeing how things happen behind the scenes, or if you simply aren’t getting enough information from your athlete’s team, this forum is as informative as it is at times intense.

This site—run by Coach Shannyn J. Gillespie, who was the USA Wrestling National head coach for women from 2004-2012—is full educational information, especially for those who will be transitioning to freestyle in college.

There are CIF sections that broadcast some of their matches (section finals, for example) and this site will usually be where you find them. There is a charge to view them. Note: I have not seen Southern, LA nor SD sections post videos here.

The NFHS  establishes the standards and rules that govern wrestling in CIF competitions and tournaments.

This site is geared more toward the northeast coast, nonetheless a lot of good information can be found on this site.

A good site for wrestling news at all levels though their coverage of female wrestling is lacking. Hopefully that will change.

SCWAY is an organization that runs amateur folkstyle wrestling tournaments. The organization’s focus is on year-round folkstyle competition at all ages groups. They are a not associated with CAUSAW.

TCWA is an organization that runs amateur folkstyle, freestyle and greco-roman wrestling tournaments for kid, cadet, junior and open age groups. It covers Atascadero, Lompoc, Oxnard, Santa Ynez, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding areas. 

The governing body of amateur wrestling in the United States. A good resource for finding out about tournaments and wrestling associations at the national level.

This association promotes girls wrestling tournaments around the United States.

This is a good blog geared toward sharing news and information that female wrestlers may find of interest. Yes, they used the term “wrestler girl” first and no we are not associated with their site.
