Longtime supporter of this site and Head Coach of the Colorado Mesa University Women’s Wrestling program, Travis Mercado, would like to invite you to attend this year’s Maverick Women’s Wrestling Camps. This year there are two camps: a 5-day and a 3-day camp. The camps take place at the Maverick Center on the campus of CMU in Grand Junction, Colorado

College Wrestling Programs Page Updated

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have updated the College Wrestling Programs page and made some changes to it.

Now that women’s wrestling has become an NAIA invitational sport, I have given the NAIA school their own section I have added a notation indicating when the last time (if ever) that school competed in the WCWA national tournament.

The WCWA section will continue to have all WCWA schools not taking part in the NAIA national Tournament.

New Jersey City University

New Jersey City University, in Jersey City, New Jersey, has announced it will be adding women’s wrestling, as a club sport starting in the 2019-2020 season, before being elevated to full varsity status in Fall 2020.

NJCU, as it is also known, is a public liberal arts university. It consists of the NJCU School of Business, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and College of Professional Studies and 41 undergraduate study and 27 graduate degree programs. 2019 Marines Western Regional Results

The 2019 Marines Western Regionals took place in Las Vegas, a weekend ago and girls from ages nine and under all the way up through high school age competed in folkstyle, freestyle, and even greco-roman! 48 California girls placed (keeping in mind that the Western Regional only places to the top four.
