Here is a list of the events taking place in February. All events not listing what city they are taking place in are in SoCal locations. If you are holding or know of an event taking place in Southern California (or elsewhere but of significant impact to SoCal wrestler-girls) that is not listed here or in the Calendar page, please let us know via the Contact Us form so that I can correct the oversight if it fits the criteria.

WCWA Regional Qualifiers Canceled

There Were Good Reasons

As some of you may know, the WCWA was scheduled to hold its regional qualifiers for this year’s National championships last weekend. However, these were canceled leaving many people wondering why. JB (Unofficial) Southern Section Rankings for January 29, 2019

The latest rankings from Jon Briggs for the Southern Section were released on January 29th. Congratulations to all the wrestlers that made the list!

The Los Angeles City Section has released its latest rankings. A special thanks to Coach Jean-Antione Ramirez for sharing these. If you would like to download a copy click here.

I wish I could tell you when to expect the next installment but it’s a real possibility that, if the strike that is affecting LAUSD goes on into the postseason, this could be the last ranking for the 2018-2019 season.

A Coach’s Perspective

Normally, this is where I would put the ranking list, but the current situation in the LACS is … Read more
